Here's the story:

50km south of Auckland city is the farm of the family-owned and operated The Fresh Grower, famed for producing delicious, safe and sustainably grown quality vegetables.  The Fresh Grower takes niche or exotic products like baby cos lettuce, fancy lettuce and baby spinach, and makes them readily accessible mainstream lines to everyday people.  Still, up at 5am to tend to his crops, Allan says The Fresh Grower provides an ever-winning range of flavourful, versatile products that fit the current generation’s lifestyles.

In 2016, Allan won a prestigious Australasian award acknowledging him as an outstanding leader and innovator across productivity, sustainability and his contribution to the community and people.

The company is family run with Allan's youngest brother Colin and his three sons Daniel, Cameron and Matthew.  The Fresh Grower is now forging ahead on innovation, sustainability and the next generation.
